LHC present: TerrorVision
We invite you all to join us for a screening of the cult classic TERRORVISION (1986). Plus a live videochat with writer & director, Ted Nicolaou!
The Putterman’s have just had a brand new state-of-art satellite TV system installed and it has gone on the fritz. When it picks up a signal from another planet, their television becomes a gateway between worlds and a ravenous creature from outer space breaches the portal into the Putterman’s house. If it wasnt for the fact that the beast just wants to eat everything in sight – it would make a great family pet!
TerrorVision is a brilliant schlocky horror from the Eighties – they truly dont make them like this anymore! The Putterman’s are a dysfunctional American family – the kids wont stop fighting, the parents are swingers, the grandpa is a survivalist prepper. The local TV horrorhost, Medusa, also gets roped into the shenanigans. And the alien creature is just a gorgeous slimy beast!
With tongue firmly planted in cheek, TerrorVision combines fabulous over the top performances with tons of special FX, comedy and plenty of slime. This is a PERFECT beer & popcorn movie to watch with our Horror Club crowd at Sanctuary!
As a very special treat for all you lovely people after the film, all the way from LA we will be having a live videochat with the writer/director of TerrorVision, Ted Nicolaou. Fuck yes! We ‘re super excited for this conversation as Terrorvision is a favourite amongst our team here, and Ted is also responsible for the awesome film franchise, Subspecies.
The über talented Ilan Sheady // Uncle Frank Productions has created an awesome movie poster especially for our screening. As usual, all event attendees will receive this A3 event poster absolutely free – this will make a gorgeous addition to your growing collection of LHC poster artwork.
