Please read these TERMS & CONDITIONS carefully before making a transaction via our website.

You should understand that by making a transaction, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you refuse to accept these terms and conditions, you will not be able to purchase from our store or book any of our events.

We have two types of product available via the LHC website: physical items (merchandise) and event bookings.

 

PHYSICAL ITEMS (merchandise)

PHYSICAL ITEMS include t-shirts, posters, badges, and various other items or merchandise which can be shipped to you, or collected at an event.

All items are subject to stock availability. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A refund will be given if you have already paid for the goods.

All prices shown on our website are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Shipping and Delivery

While we hope your purchase arrives with you promptly, there can be delays which are outside of our control – such as hold ups at customs. If there is a problem, please get in touch. [link]

Also, we are not responsible for any additional charges you may receive upon delivery – such as import duty.

Returns Policy

We will refund or exchange any unused/unworn Liverpool Horror Club products within 14 days of purchase if you are not satisfied. Please get in touch to let us know what the problem is, so we can resolve the situation satisfactorily.

Once goods are returned, we will issue a refund, exchange the item, or give you credit towards purchasing different products. However, as our products are often created in limited quantities, it will not always be possible to replace the item if stock has run out.

 

EVENT BOOKING

1. CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING
After making a booking you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your booking request. Please note, your booking is not confirmed until full payment has been received.
The contract between us will only be formed when we send you the Booking Confirmation and receive full payment. Should there be a limited number of places at each Event these will be allocated in order of receipt of bookings.

If you have a disability or medical condition that requires special arrangements to be made, or specific dietary requirements, please notify us of your requirements when making your booking.

2. EVENT CONTENT
We reserve the right to make changes to the published programme of an Event (but not the overall content), for example to timings and/or speakers if one of the advertised speakers is unable to attend. In such cases, you will not be entitled to a refund if you cancel your place.

3. EVENT VENUE
Our Events are held at a number of venues throughout Liverpool. You acknowledge that we may have to change the published venue for the event for reasons beyond our control and in such cases, you will not be entitled to cancel unless the change in venue represents a significant disadvantage to you.
You are liable for any loss or damage which you may cause to our premises or that of the external venue and agree to adhere to all housekeeping rules, procedures and policies (including policies as to behaviour and conduct) that may be in place at any venue from time to time.

4. IMAGES
We often take photographs at events for marketing purposes. By attending an event, you are giving us permission to use images in which you may be present. In addition, these images may be shared and stored on third-party platforms. Should you not wish to appear in any images, please notify the LHC representative at the event.

5. SPECIAL OFFERS
We reserve the right, from time to time, to run special promotional offers on events. Special Offers may include, but are not limited to, price promotions. In the event of a Special Offer, additional terms and conditions may apply which will be made available at the time of booking.

6. CANCELLING YOUR BOOKING
If you wish to cancel your booking, please us our contact page [link] quoting your booking reference. We will notify you when this refund has taken place, the returned funds may take a few days to process. If you wish to receive a refund, you must notify us at least 24 hours prior to the event taking place.

7. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
The Liverpool Horror Club shall not be liable for the delay or cancellation of an event, if the delay or cancellation is caused by circumstances or events outside our reasonable control. A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes (without limitation) the following:

Strikes, or industrial action;
Riot, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, alien invasion, war;
Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster;
Impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport;
Impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks; and
The acts, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government;

Our performance under any Contract is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues. We will use our reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under the Contract may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.
